We grow and export our wines.

We are a 100% family winery that seeks to continue the dream of our grandfather Pedro Etcheberry, a French agronomist, who believed in the Chilean wine industry since 1955.

Decades later, our father, Pedro Félix de Aguirre and our mother, Ana María Etcheberry joined this idea and gave a fresh spirit to our grandfather’s desire.

Since 2007, all seven siblings of the De Aguirre – Etcheberry Family, decided to dedicate our lives to Grow Wine and send it to the world.

All of us got actively involved in the family business that started almost 60 years ago. Nowadays, the seven brothers and sisters play an important part of the company and their teams.

Our Wines

The grapes come from our vineyards located in Villa Alegre, 285 km south of Santiago, in Maule Valley. This place has a Mediterranean-like climate, where the winter rains are normal and the summers are dry, with marked range of temperatures between day and night.

This allows the grapes to get ripe tannins, as well as excellent aromas and color concentration. Soils are a combination of sand and volcanic ash and the flat terrain gets and superb sunlight exposition.

Our Varietal Entry Wines are fruity and juicy. Its flavors and aromas are rich and represent the red, black, blue, yellow for white fruits that each variety reflect.

Our Varietal Classic Wines are crisp, juicy and flavorful. Its aromas are rich and intense red, black, blue, yellow or white fruits that each variety reflect.

Our Reserve Line Wines are fresh, fruity and persistent. Every variety it is expressed in what you serve in the glass. It is well balanced and long lasting.

Our Grand Reserve Line Wines are produced from specially selected blocks from our main fields.Its aromas and flavors are smooth and crisp. The fruit is well balanced with the tannins and wood.

The sun exposure, the clean waters of the melting snows of the Andes, the fertile lands of the Maule Valley and care of an entire family dedicated to the production of exceptional wines, clearly reflect the soul of Chile and the spirit of Villa Alegre.

Our Fields and Cellar

The winery is located at Villa Alegre, 285km (180miles) south of Santiago, Chile’s capital.

Our wide variety of wines have their origin primarily in the renowned Maule Valley, one of the oldest and most diverse wine areas in the South of Chile.

Our focus is set on exporting bottled wines using our company brands, but also those of third parties Private Labels (OEM)

We own 520 hectares of Estate vineyards close to the cellar and 640 additional hectares managed in long – term contracts in different valleys. In total, 1.160 hectares of the best land for wine grapes.

Our vineyards have a modern, high-tech drip irrigation system, which allows the vineyards to be irrigated with the optimal amount of water in the different periods of vine growth.

The vineyards at our Estate are planted 100 meters (320 feet) above sea level and 80 kms (128 miles) straight line from the Pacific Ocean.
The area enjoys a privileged microclimate with an excellent thermal variation that benefits the harvesting of extraordinary quality grapes.
